Ramesh M. Singa, MD, is a double board-certified anesthesiologist and pain management physician with the team at Republic Spine and Pain in Georgetown and Austin, Texas.
Dr. Singa was born in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his undergraduate studies in biomedical engineering at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and his graduate studies in international health at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. He then spent time abroad in East Timor engaged in public health projects before returning to Chicago and starting medical school at Rush Medical College.
He trained in surgery and surgical subspecialties in Chicago before completing his anesthesiology residency at RWJ Barnabas in New Jersey. After completing his pain medicine fellowship at Rush University Medical Center, Dr. Singa practiced interventional pain management and anesthesiology in California for four years. He and his wife soon came to their senses and finally moved to Texas.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Singa enjoys hiking, photography, reading, and tennis.
